Here again...another Friday list of prettiness; whatever might have taken my fancy this week. Today heralds the start of the Easter weekend, which to me means family and quieter times, seeing friends, resting up. Of course I couldn't
not mention the weather which, as I look out today, is shaping up to be a beautiful sunny day. Maybe a late beach visit this afternoon? Cook fish on the barbecue?
I've been trying to just take some time of late, to work through chores more mindfully, to concentrate on the task in hand rather than just muddle through. I need to get more centred on what I am
doing. I need to keep my nostalgia in check, as much as I love it, looking back all the time is counter-productive. Time to look forward and to plan...
She'll always have one of the nicest smiles...
I want these shorts...

It's all about positive thinking...
I completely fall for these pretty papers...I buy far too much writing paper and then don't correspond with people the old fashioned way...
These always make me think of my friend Simone, whose birthday is this weekend...mwah!
Have a wonderful, restful, thoughtful weekend...
You have inspired me to wear flowers in my hair and make macaroons this weekend...

Happy friday Lou! I love these posts of yours. they put the biggest smile on my face!
ReplyDeleteJennifer Aniston is so gorgeous, she is my fave. I have always been on Jen's side rather than Angelina's haha.
I just want to say such a big thank you to you for that beautiful comment you wrote on my blog the other day. 20's are all about being carefree arent they. Sometimes I just want to have all the cares that later life brings like my own house and a demanding job but there is all the time in the world for that later on so its best to focus on enjoying my 20's because i wont get them again :)
thanks so much again for the lovely comment. you always have the best and most wise words :)
xx
Looking forward to a fab sunny easter here too. Not too much planned, which suits us right now. Love those shorts too! Happpy Easter.
ReplyDeleteI love these posts of yours!!! happy easter, angie
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Easter. I know what you mean about being nostalgic... sometimes it can have such a counterproductive effect. I wish I knew how to stop doing it though! Enjoy the sun and the beach... now I'm being nostalgic about past Easters spent in England. Drat! Lx
ReplyDeleteAhh, Lou, your inspiration is just splendid, as always! I so look forward to stopping by whenever I can. It's Friday morning, sunny and crisp out... I have French music playing and the back door wide open. The perfect time to visit your blog for a little escape, I think...
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a fabulous Easter! May it be filled with love, fun, some quiet time, and some sweets -- must have some sweets :)
Thank you for all of the inspiration you share -- you are special and host such a special blog.
xoxo,
Sarah
